At the start of the New Year 2026, Canna Real Estate Group decided to expand its cannabis business and property investment portfolio to include private equity capital placements with licensees operating in the New Jersey, Washington, DC markets.
CREG has been quite active in the New Jersey and Washington, DC cannabis markets with memberships in the New Jersey Cannabis Business Association since 2023 and Washington DC Cannabis Business Association since 2024.
Doing so allows us to create meaningful relationships with our existing clients while representing several new cultivation, manufacturing and retail clients there. We have structured partnerships in New Jersey to provide our clients with equity funding to compete their capital stacks, both of which are necessary to engage sophisticated financing platforms. Additionally, we’ve completed investments in micro-cultivation and retail dispensary operators in Washington, DC to further expand our holdings in that market.
