How we evolved from traditional commercial real state
We’ve been in commercial real estate in Denver, CO for 35 years. Our focus has been on institutional development/finance, owners’ rep leasing/brokerage and project management. When Colorado’s medical marijuana industry expanded to include recreational about seven years ago, a few partners in private equity asked for our help to acquire industrial buildings for conversion into cultivation grows. We knew that working directly with the cannabis cultivators as their advisors, as we have done with our parent owners’ rep firm, the effort would be successful. Several successes later, and with more cannabis-specific professionals in design, construction, and finance in our network, we formed the collaborative relationship now known as Canna Real Estate Group.
